SCI raises awareness ofmothers and their children on the importance of personal hygiene in Hodeidah

Save the Children has launched a program in Salakhana Hospital to raise the awareness of mothers and their children on the importance of washing hands and personal hygiene. This project is implemented in 3 districts in Hodeidah (Al-Hali, Bait al Faqih and Bajil).

50 volunteer workers and employees of Save the Children led practical raising awareness sessions on how to wash your hands and personal hygiene for children and their mothers. Participants were then chosen to demonstrate what they had learnt. Save the Children also distributed personal hygiene kits to the participants.
